Allison Williams
Allison Howell Williams (born April 13 1988) is an American producer and actor. Williams has been described as an "horror queen" by the media due to her work in horror films. Her first fame was for the role of Marnie Michaels in the HBO comedy-drama show Girls (2012-2017) that brought her a Critics' Choice Award nomination. In 2017, she received nominations in both the MTV Movie Awards as well as the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Her role in Get Out, starring Rose Armitage was a major breakthrough for her. Her next roles were in horror films The Perfection (2018 and M3GAN 2022) that she also produced. Williams was the youngest daughter born and raised, of former NBC Nightly News Anchor and Director of Editorial Brian Williams and TV Producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. There is also a brother. Williams was a student at New Canaan Country School, as well as Greenwich Academy. She went to Yale University, majoring in English. Additionally, she was part of both the St. Elmo and Morse College secret societies. Williams was also employed at a Ralph Lauren Outlet Store in New Canaan. She was also an active member for the last four years of the Just Add water improv group and appeared on the YouTube show College Musical. Sam Tsui starred in the film, while Kurt Hugo Schneider was its director. Both attended Yale. The actress graduated from Yale with a degree in English in 2010.
